The Finance Department had recently organised a bowling tournament. There were 8 teams consisting of 4 bowlers per team playing 3 games each. Together from donations by generous contributors with the entrance fees, we had managed to plan and organise a good overall tournament.
The organising committee arriving at venue as early as 08:30 AM to make some preparation before the start of the registration. The participants registered and were given pre-packed paper bag with drink, cake and souvenir gifts. All partcipants autographed a black poster designed for the event.
After a few minutes of bowlers to warm-up, we had our CFO, Bernie, to roll the first bowl to start the tournament. So the games began, and there seemed the players were competing hard against each other. The team members were selected randomly by pulling out lots, so the teams' strength were relatively unknown. The players whom had realised this would stride to achieve the best invididu score which in turn would helped the team's overall score.
The CEO, Mr Siva, made a rare appearance during the first game. After signing the poster, he had mingled around with the teams and players. He did not stayed long since he would be driving down to JB for Long Service Award event.
We had lucky draws for some lucky bowlers. There were also special awards for best dressed team (won by the team Ultras Bowls with their Bermuda's shirt) and the lowest score bowler (won by Norshafina at 169 pins) to spice up the tournament. We ended the tournament with lunch for all bowlers and guests.

The winners were:
1st place team winner: Team Rajawali (Kamarul, Bernie, Azura and Nor Jannah) with score of 1279 pins,
1st runner-up team: Team Ultras Bowls (Yuhairie, Shafiq, Norhana, Aqila) with score of 1207 pins,
2nd runner-up team: Team Super Natural (Suhaimi, Maxine, Farrezatun, Sallehuddin) with score of 1121 pins.
Individual winner were:
Men: Nizam (405), Suhaimi (389) and Yuhairie (372)
Women: Bernie (381), Nor Jannah (340), Faridah (328)
