Dear Suzana, Masliza and Kamarul
We have to support the BCP and I understand the staff are not willing to help if on volunteer basis. Therefore, to avoid disharmony and discontentment amongst the staff, I am proposing to give all the names in Finance to help out at CPC during crisis except the Senior Managers, Managers and 4 Senior Executives. 3 of the Senior Executives could not be in the Back Up team as they are key staff in the Treasury Unit while Krishnamoorthy could not be in due to his health problem.
As indicated in the email below, there will be a one day training for the back up team with refresher training from time to time. The back up team is required to help out only during crisis time which may or may not even happen. This is not the same team for Break Bulk. The back up could be day or night duties. When the crisis arise, we shall then determine who shall be in the day or night duty.
Attached is the staff name list for the CPC back up.
Pls explain this to your staff and revert to me by 30 July 2008 if you have any issue. Otherwise, I shall proceed to submit the names to Vijay on 31 July 2008.
Rgds
Maxine
